Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Home Care Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring compassionate, personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes or community settings, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs and observing changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with healthcare teams Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations to ensure safety and confidentiality Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care, autism support, and hospice care practices Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges using compassionate direct support methods Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills for documenting care plans, patient monitoring notes, and collaborating with healthcare professionals Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly valued Join us to provide exceptional home care that enriches lives through dedicated support and compassionate service.
