Job Description

Overview We are currently hiring dedicated, energetic, and proactive Direct Support Professionals to join our team. Available opportunities include one full-time role (40 hours weekly) and one part-time position (20 hours weekly). In this impactful role, you will offer hands-on assistance to an adult navigating developmental and behavioral challenges, can be physically agressive. Support is provided across various indoor and outdoor settings, encompassing both home and community spaces. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in behavioral health or related disciplines. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care and behavioral support in various locales, such as private homes, community areas, recreational sites, and vocational environments like farms. Execute behavioral intervention strategies and individualized care plans using proven therapy methods. Help clients build functional skills to improve their quality of life and promote personal independence. Assist with daily living tasks, including mealtime support such as monitoring eating speed. Facilitate therapeutic and engaging activities, ranging from neighborhood strolls to playing board games or the Wii. Record session details, behavioral data, and client milestones with precision. Uphold rigorous medical documentation standards in full compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with caregivers, family members, and other health professionals to maintain a high standard of continuous care. Engage in professional development and team sessions to stay informed on behavioral therapy best practices. Candidate Requirements Qualified applicants should demonstrate: Practical knowledge of behavior management and patient care fundamentals. Background in supporting or developing personalized behavioral health plans. Understanding of behavioral health principles as they apply to developmental disabilities. Ability to use behavioral therapy methods to successfully engage clients. Commitment to HIPAA standards and professional medical documentation. A desire to work in physically active settings, including both indoor and outdoor environments. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, or Therapeutic Recreation. Professional Certifications from recognized organizations, which may include: NADD Competency-Based Clinical Certification NADD Competency-Based Dual Diagnosis Certification NADD Competency-Based Direct-Support Professional Certification Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

$25.00 - $31.00 per hour
