- Provide direct support and assistance to patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to home care agency Skills
- Ability to provide direct patient care and follow care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of senior care and the specific needs of seniors
- The ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
