Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in their homes and community settings. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health and safety, and promote independence while ensuring a warm, respectful, and safe environment. Your energy and enthusiasm will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Document care activities, patient observations, and any incidents clearly and promptly in compliance with healthcare standards Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient support Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, families, and social workers Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide empathetic patient-centered care Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in delivering compassionate home health services that empower individuals to live comfortably and independently. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
