Assist with ADLs Escort consumers to appointments, social events, and community activities, encourage participation in leisure and recreation. Escort clients to medical appointments Remind consumers to take their medications and ensure safety in their homes and in the community. Support clients' rights, help them access resources, and advocate for their preferences and choices. Record client activies, behaviors, and incidents in accordance with agency policy. Provide supervision during emergencies. Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc. Protect clients from potential health hazards. Meal preparation Teaching to budget, cook and other life skills. High School Diploma or equivalency. Completion of all required agency and state mandated trainings. Needs valid drivers license, current automobile liability insurance, safe and reliable transportation, and willingness to use personal vehicle to transport serviced recipient as needed or required.
