Job Description

Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)-
Evening/Overnight Support Location:
State College, PA Private Household Employer We are seeking a reliable and caring Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide evening and overnight support for our adult daughter with moderate autism. The DSP will ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment throughout the evening and night.
Position Details:
Part-time position
Overnight Shifts:
Flexible, 2X weekly, 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 A.M. Private household employer Opportunities to pick up additional day shifts, week days and rotating Saturdays.
Compensation:
$19-25/hour
Mileage Reimbursement Responsibilities:
Provide mentoring, modeling, and personalized support in daily living activities Provide transportation for community outings as needed Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized environment Offer mentoring and encouragement with independent living skills Support behavioral strategies and provide consistency with routines Attend monthly meetings with the team and behavioral team specialist Communicate and document information/data accurately and collaboratively
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Valid Driver's License, insured/registered/inspected vehicle Ability to pass background checks Experience with individuals with disabilities or autism is preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills. Background in human services/social work is a plus (Not required)
