Job Description

Shift & Schedule:
Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Scheduling options available; looking for 7 to 15 hours per week per person). Job Description Are you looking for a rewarding, consistent part-time role that fits seamlessly into a busy schedule? We are seeking energetic, dedicated, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized, 1:1 support to a young adult with neurodevelopmental and communication differences. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals, such as university students or professionals balancing other commitments, who want to make a meaningful impact and build a stable working relationship while pursuing their educational or career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Living Support:
Assist the individual with routine daily living skills to foster independence, comfort, and safety at home.
Communication Support:
Support the individual's unique communication style and speech needs.
Community Engagement:
Accompany and facilitate participation in community and recreational activities.
Active Engagement:
Plan, prompt, and encourage active participation in daily tasks, physical movement, and interests.
What We Look For:
A kind, patient, and understanding nature. Reliable, motivated individuals with high energy and a strong work ethic. Must be a Pennsylvania resident. Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior experience supporting individuals with speech differences, autism, or developmental support needs is a plus, but not a requirement . We are fully prepared and happy to provide training for the right candidate.
Benefits & Perks:
