A typical day on the job may consist of accompanying a person supported at a medical appointment, assisting an individual in cooking and completing chores around their home or supporting an individual in accessing the community for activities of interest (shopping, watching a movie at the local cinema or attending a concert in the park
  • all dependent on the individuals goals and interests).

  • Individuals who can serve as a positive role model and mentor to the people we support.
Position requirements:
Provide assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in their home or community. Foster independence in daily living and serve as a positive role model and mentor to individuals supported.
  • Basic computer skills (word, excel, pdf, navigating a mobile app) is required
  • Experience in the field of developmental and intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must have reliable transportation and car insurance.
  • Must be able to pass background checks
  • Must be able to work in an independent capacity.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide Direct Care supports per regulatory requirements through the the Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver (CIH) and/ or the Family Supports Waiver (FSW) to persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • For those interested in a contractor position.
. Become your own boss! As a contractor you make your own schedule and much more..choose who you would like to work with and assist and develop a schedule with the team. A typical day consist of one on one supports and working with individuals to reach self determined goals. Depending on the services provided, these supports can be in home or in the community.
