Your main job is keeping things running smoothly — scheduling patients, following up, and making sure our Nurse Practitioners can focus on care instead of logistics. This is a Monday-Friday office role with a hybrid option after 90 days. If you are detail-oriented, great on the phone, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do Primarily:
Coordinate scheduling for ACO patients and Nurse Practitioners Make outbound follow-up calls to schedule and confirm patient visits Track care gaps and flag priority cases to the clinical team Manage NP calendars and daily scheduling flow Prepare scheduling summaries and reports for program leadership
Also:
Answer phones, manage faxes, and handle incoming communications Support patient intake, documentation, and records in the EMR Coordinate between clinical staff, patients, and physician offices On an ad hoc basis, contact physician offices for authorizations or care updates Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate starting at $18.00 an hour. We offer more based on experience, background and education. 27 benefit days first year — PTO, floating holidays, sick days, and 7 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (eligible after 30 days) 403(b) with 50% company match up to 6% (vesting at 1 year) Tuition reimbursement, CEU benefit, FSA, EAP Nonprofit employer — may qualify for federal student loan forgiveness• Hybrid schedule after 90-day in-office training period What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of administrative or scheduling experience in a healthcare setting — required Home health, hospice, primary care, or ACO experience — strongly preferred Comfortable with EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office Strong communicator — confident on the phone with patients, families, and physician offices Organized, self-directed, and great at follow-through Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance/authorization basics — a plus Must reside in Utah; valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening Authorized to work in the United States This job summary outlines the general nature and level of responsibilities and is not an exhaustive list of all duties or skills required.
