We provide services throughout the State of Rhode Island including: Barrington, Bristol, Cranston, East Providence, Middletown, Pawtucket, Tiverton, and Warren. Duties Assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor participants' health by taking vital signs, observing participants conditions, and reporting changes promptly Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations to ensure safety and compliance Support clients during meal preparation, cooking, and feeding to promote proper nutrition and independence Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident lifts safely to assist with mobility and prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks aligned with infection control standards Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies, including progress notes and incident reports Experience High school diploma or equivalency is preferred Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable but all necessary training will be provided Experience with group home settings or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Knowledge of medication administration, patient monitoring, and vital signs measurement is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work flexible hours to meet client needs Join us as a Direct Support Professional where your compassion fuels positive change!
