Perspectives Corporation is hiring immediately for 1st & 2nd shift Direct Support Professionals in the Adult Residential Services across South County, RI including: Narragansett, Wakefield, Charlestown, and Westerly Perspectives Corporation is seeking creative and flexible leaders who are interested in becoming Direct Support Professionals to make a positive impact on their community. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work in a residential setting supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This rewarding role focuses on promoting community integration and assisting individuals in maintaining essential daily living skills. We require a favorable criminal record check, safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Household management (cooking, cleaning, laundry) Support community and daily living skills Building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationships Administering medications Transporting individuals to work, appointments, and outings Exploring recreational activities that reflect the individual's interests
