Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our home care team in Columbia, SC. This role provides essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities in the comfort of their homes. We serve clients across all age groups, including children, adults, and seniors. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to improving the quality of life for others.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, tidying living spaces) Support mobility and transfers as needed Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor Follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
Compassionate, reliable, and patient personality Must be able to follow care plans and instructions Strong communication and time management skills Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks Background check required Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required (training available) Must have reliable transportation; own vehicle is strongly preferred Must provide 2 forms of valid identification Must wear black scrubs while on duty
Work Environment:
In-home care setting Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends available) Work assignments may include children, adults, or senior clients
