Personal Care Assistance :

Home health aides help clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. This support helps clients maintain dignity and comfort in their daily lives.

Mobility Support :

They assist clients with mobility, helping them move safely within their homes, use assistive devices, and prevent falls. This includes transferring clients in and out of beds and chairs.

Health Monitoring :

Home health aides regularly check vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. They document any changes in the client's health and report these to healthcare professionals.

Medication Management :

While they typically do not administer medications, aides may remind clients to take their medications and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.

Light Housekeeping :

They perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and healthy living environment for clients.

Companionship and Emotional Support :

Providing companionship is a crucial aspect of their role. Home health aides engage clients in conversation and recreational activities, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote emotional well-being.

Documentation and Reporting :

Aides maintain accurate records of the services provided and any observations regarding the client's condition, ensuring effective communication with family members and healthcare teams.

Job Types:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
