Home Care Aide

```Duties```

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the supervisor ```Requirements```
• Previous experience in senior care or patient care is preferred
• Knowledge of assisted living, dementia care, and memory care practices
• Ability to provide personal care, including catheter care if needed
• Familiarity with nursing home procedures and protocols
• Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
