Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, and community care environments. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health and well-being, and promote independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in their condition to report promptly to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Support patients during outings or community activities to foster social engagement and independence Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and update care plans regularly Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism or other special needs Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and experience with patient monitoring are highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and handle physical tasks required for patient transfer and mobility assistance Strong observational skills for patient safety, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents' families, and other caregivers Compassionate attitude combined with patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
