- Ask about shift differentials, PTO, and more! Role Overview DSP employees are responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of residents during the hours of 8 am
- 8 pm for the dayshift position, and 8pm
- 8am for the nightshift position.
Key Responsibilities Personal Care:
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.Medical Support:
Administer medications and document health/behavior changes.Mobility Assistance:
Support safe transfers, positioning, and movement.Behavioral Support:
Implement behavior plans and encourage positive engagement.Activities & Socialization:
Lead recreational activities and outings.Communication:
Maintain professional contact with families and team members.Safety & Environment:
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.Documentation:
Accurately record care, incidents, and observations per policy. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.Preferred:
Experience with autism, profound disabilities, or developmental differences. Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and physicals. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Compassion, patience, and reliability. Valid SC driver's license with a clean driving record. Questions?
