Home Health Aide $14 per hour Every Saturday and Sunday 7 hours each day/Weekly pay Newberry, SC 29108 $14 an hour - Part-time $14 an hour - Part-time Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, providing vital support to individuals in their homes and community settings. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. You will work every Saturday and Sunday for seven hours each day, delivering consistent, reliable care that enhances quality of life. We value energetic, dedicated caregivers who thrive on building trusting relationships and delivering personalized care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient conditions through observation of vital signs and overall well-being Support medication administration following medical documentation protocols and HIPAA regulations Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to accurately document care activities Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, or memory care Use medical terminology appropriately to communicate patient status and care plans effectively Employ equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care when necessary to ensure safety and comfort Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, and handle light cleaning tasks including laundry and household chores Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with home & community care best practices Experience Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required Experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation is highly desirable Certifications such as CPR, hospice care training, or dementia/cognitive impairment care are advantageous Long-term care experience and working with seniors or individuals with disabilities will strengthen your application Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance Join us in delivering exceptional home health services!
