Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Transport patients to medical appointments or outings as needed
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Dementia care knowledge
- Cooking skills for meal preparation
- Familiarity with medical records documentation
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
