Home Health Aide

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while ensuring safety protocols are followed Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for the patient Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication Experience Prior experience in home health care or long-term care environments is highly preferred Proven ability to work with individuals with disabilities, dementia, or memory care needs Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, catheter care, and hospice care practices Demonstrated skills in patient observation, caregiving for seniors or those in assisted living settings, and working within home & community care environments Strong understanding of safety procedures related to Hoyer lifts, vital signs monitoring, and infection control standards Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most!
