Direct Support Professional - 3 Day Work Week!

Direct Support Professional The primary purpose of a DSP is to assist people who need support to lead self-directed lives and to participate fully in our community. As a DSP, your week will be filled with rewarding opportunities to help people with disabilities live rich, active lives. Make $42K to $46K+ per year! We are looking for full time Direct Support Professionals to work three, 12-hour shifts including one weekend shift. This gives you the opportunity to have a great work life balance. With only working three days per week, you will have 208 scheduled days off for the year! We offer very stable employment opportunities with 36 hours per week as full-time status. Average wages between $22.63 to $24.97 for a 36-hour work week. Work week will consist of three, 12

On any given day you may: Go to local sporting events, concerts, movies, restaurants—and even go on trips and vacations! Participate in goal planning and implementation Encourage and support people in learning new skills and attending various classes Support people to appointments or do fun things in the community Help people you support prepare meals, cook, clean, eat, take care of personal hygiene, and other daily living skills. What are the Background Qualifications to Become a Direct Support Professional?

Qualifications:

18 years of age or older Valid drivers license High School Diploma Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience is a plus Qualifying background check and drug screen What Are the Main Requirements of a Direct Support Professional?
