Our mission is to help this population live the most integrated and independent lives possible. Progress Inc. is searching for Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants / CNAs to assist seniors in their homes in locations throughout Hendersonville and Gallatin with personal care and homemaker duties.
  • Positions will begin Part-Time but could transition into Full-Time.
  • 12-20 hours per week
  • Shifts are typically 4 hours long and between 8am
  • 7pm M-F.
  • Staff must be available to cover shifts 2 weekends out of the month.
Duties:
  • Assist seniors with activities of daily living / personal care as needed
  • Performing light cleaning duties
  • Basic meal preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Meeting potential new clients and family
  • Having conversation
  • Assist with simple errands occasionally
Requirements:
  • Must be able to complete approximately 15 hours of paid pre-service training
  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license, valid insurance and reliable vehicle
  • Must be available to be on-call to work two weekends per month
  • Must not be listed on registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
