Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. As a Home Health Aide, you will deliver essential support with dignity and respect, ensuring clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a safe, comfortable environment for every person you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia through specialized techniques Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately for documentation purposes Use medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with developmental disabilities or in hospice care Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and meal preparation Follow all safety protocols including CPR certification requirements and infection control procedures Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records management Experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient records management Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or catheter care are advantageous Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism under HIPAA guidelines Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts lives!
