Requitements:

Valid Texas Driver's License with an insurable driving record. Texas Id and Social Security Card. Able to pass Criminal/Background check, consumer employment recommendation. Effective written and verbal English communication skills. High School Diploma, GED equivalent or competency determination. No CNA Certification Required On the job training available The work schedule will be assigned by the supervisor. Work hours may vary to accommodate consumer and company needs. Overnight, Evening, Weekend and Morning Shifts Available.

• Staff must be alert during all hours of their shift, including overnight personnel to ensure the safety of our clients.

Duties are as follows:

Ensure consumers are free of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Serve as an example, role model and advocate for the consumer. Providing companionship and supportive listening. Supervise consumer safety and security. Be active and supportive in community activities, social interaction, and in leisure activities. Help in the development of social valued behaviors. Taking vitals, height, and weight. Responding to emergency situations. Administering medication Direct, teach, document and provide personal assistance with activities of daily living. Meal planning and preparation Secure and provide transportation as needed Assistance with housekeeping, ambulation, and mobility. Ensure compliance with all CALAB, Wavier and TXHHSX policies and procedures
