Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor and document client health and behavior, reporting any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to develop personalized care plans. Skills Experience in memory care, home health, or hospice care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Familiarity with patient care practices and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
