Director of Client Services Job Description:
Hands of Angels LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to provide quality in-home care and support services to clients in their homes. The CNA/PCA will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, companionship, and supportive services while promoting dignity, independence, and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Personal Care Services Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with toileting and incontinence care. Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation. Provide skin care and observe for changes in condition. Assist with medication reminders as permitted by company policy. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, and mental condition. Assist with eating and hydration as needed. Companion Care Services Provide companionship and emotional support. Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities. Encourage social interaction and participation in daily routines. Escort clients to appointments, community activities, and outings as assigned. Household Support Services Perform light housekeeping duties, including: Laundry and linen changes Dishwashing Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Dusting and general tidying Organizing client living areas Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks. Assist with grocery shopping and essential errands as authorized. Documentation and Communication Accurately complete daily care notes, timesheets, and service documentation. Report incidents, accidents, safety concerns, and client status changes promptly to the supervisor. Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Communicate professionally with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Qualifications Current CNA certification in the State of Texas (required for CNA positions). High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one (1) year of caregiving, personal care, home care, or healthcare experience preferred. Current CPR certification preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. Ability to pass background screening and any required drug testing. Skills and Abilities Compassionate and client-centered approach to care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow care plans. Strong observation and reporting abilities. Reliable, dependable, and professional demeanor. Ability to maintain client dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently. Ability to lift, transfer, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to safely assist clients with transfers and mobility. Ability to work in a variety of home environments. Work Environment Client homes and community settings. Flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments based on client needs.
