Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medications Provide personal care and support for individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Support clients in engaging in social activities and community involvement to promote their well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs. Document patient observations accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
