Spectrum of Solutions is searching for full-time, compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our highly respected team in the Permian Basin (Midland and Odessa) area. In this position you will play an essential role in contributing to the organization's mission by assisting individuals served in various aspects of daily living while ensuring their safety and providing emotional support. Responsibilities:
Monitor the health, comfort and safety of individuals served, while ensuring that the medical, nutritional and personal care needs are being met.
Interact with individuals in an emotionally supportive and therapeutic manner, and practice effective techniques for reinforcing appropriate individual behavior
Maintain medical, social and programmatic files by recording each person's progress and documenting other required information.
Provide transportation and assist individuals with integration into the community by accompanying them to social and spiritual activities
Assist each person served with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties promoting independence
Collaborate with care team regarding individual needs and progress
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in caregiver roles preferred
Must be able to work onsite (not a remote role)
Valid Texas driver's license and related insurance
Must pass a background check and drug screen
