Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in a home health setting . You will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health, and ensure their safety and comfort. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, persons with disabilities, developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents or patients if applicable. Document patient observations, care activities, and progress accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans for each individual Qualifications Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents or patients with mobility needs Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor to foster trust and rapport with clients Valid driver's license may be required for certain roles involving home visits or community outings Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through caregiving!
