Full time and Part time positions available.
Job Description:
Life Skills Trainers provide one on one skills training for persons with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities living in nursing facility settings. Typical skills training includes activities that enhance socialization/communication skills and cognitive skills. Training will be provided. No certification required. No nights or weekends. Paid holidays and earned leave, even your birthday is a paid holiday. Monday through Friday but work schedule is flexible. Successful Life Skills Trainers are creative and can work independently without direct supervision. This is a very rewarding position for the right person. You can really see difference that you are making in the lives of the clients. Friends for Life is a 36 year old charity that provides services for seniors and people with disabilities. We help the most vulnerable live the fullest life possible. Qualifications Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Valid driver's license
