Care Circle is looking for professional, responsible, attentive and caring candidates to to meet the needs of our amazing clients. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The individual in this position is directly responsible for the quality of life of adults served, and will be involved with every facet of their lives to ensure that they stay active members of the community and are learning how to live a more independent and fulfilling life.

Responsibilities:

Offer help and support when needed Document incidents when they occur Follow health and safety regulations while working with clients. Ensure environment is safe at all times Respond to emergency calls. Ensure residence is safe Assist with clientele's needs throughout the night (if needed, otherwise most clients are asleep) Assist clients with basic day-to-day needs (breakfast, personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, money management) when and if needed. Most clients prefer to work independently, however assistance can be offered when staff sees fit or when clients request.

Staff arrives at 3pm when our 3 clients arrive from day support. Staff is to help assist make dinner and administer meds. There is a lot of down time on this shift. Our clients are very independent and high functioning. 2 of them just need encouragement and reminders for hygiene and cleaning rooms. Staff is to be on top of keeping the home clean. Staff are to invite clients to assist in doing independent living skills (cleaning, cooking etc) that js a nutshell run down. I would say staff tasks (meal, clean, administer meds, help clients with personal goals like cleaning their room and bathroom etc) can take 1-2 hours maybe and the rest of the shift is watching Netflix or hanging out with clients lol For Sun/Mon graveyard staff are allowed to sleep while on the clock. Our group home is probably one of the easiest homes anyone can work at. Our home only has 3 clients and they are very independent/high functioning and do most things on their own but just need reminders and encouragement. Staff is to make sure home is clean, prepare just breakfast and administer meds. With that said $12/hr to sleep and make a meal. It's very justifiable and you can ask any other staff because most of those hours staff is able to sleep or watch Netflix. :) Grave $12/hr to mostly sleep :) Day shift $14/hr to be up, make dinner, help clients with some cleaning goals and hang out.

• Sunday 9p)and do the exact same type of things as the day and grave shift.

The guys like to get out in the community (movies, park, or whatever they want to do, sometimes they just want to stay home lol) grocery shopping for the week is done by weekend staff with the guys. Must have a reliable vehicle with the state required insurance $100,000/individual $300,000/incident
