Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate support and assistance in daily living activities, ensuring that each individual receives the care they need to thrive in their home and community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to fostering independence and promoting dignity among those we serve. Duties Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide support in social activities and community integration, encouraging participation and engagement. Help with mobility and physical assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of individuals under your care. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to develop personalized tailored to each individual's needs. Document progress and changes in behavior or health status, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel. Foster positive relationships with individuals, promoting their emotional well-being and self-esteem. Transport and accompany clients on community outings, ensuring safety, supervision, and support while promoting social interaction and independence. Experience Ideal candidates will have , or assisted living environments. Familiarity with working with people who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Skills in memory care and home community care are beneficial. Candidates should also possess the ability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific care needs. A compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
