  • Full-time Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Personal Care Assistant, where your compassion and hands-on support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care.
In this vital role, you will provide personalized care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, or clients' private residences. Your energetic and proactive approach will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those you serve. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to foster trust and build strong relationships while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior; document findings accurately for care records Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home environments, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with Alzheimer's disease, or other memory care needs is advantageous.
