Patient Sitter (Hospital-Based) - $17.50/Hour Hampton Roads, VA Competitive Pay | Flexible Scheduling | Local Opportunities First Choice Nurses is currently seeking dependable and compassionate Patient Sitters to provide one-on-one observation and support for patients in a hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals who are committed to patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities Provide continuous observation of assigned patients Maintain a safe environment and report changes in patient behavior or condition Assist nursing staff with non-clinical patient support tasks as directed Help prevent falls, wandering, and other safety risks Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times Accurately document observations per facility guidelines Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a: Patient Sitter Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Patient Care Assistant (PCA) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication and observation skills Required Credentials Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination record or positive titer MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination record or positive titer QuantiFERON Gold or
