In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those navigating memory care, your positive impact will be felt daily. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to foster growth, build trust, and empower individuals to live their best lives in a supportive environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe for changes in condition Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking while adhering to dietary restrictions and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring a hygienic environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare protocols and assist in updating individualized care plans Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and working with individuals with autism or disabilities Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and HIPAA compliance are required or training will be provided Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Demonstrated patience and compassion when providing patient-centered care in diverse settings Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and developing or following care plans is advantageous Background checks required Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving.
