is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide In-Home Support Services in accordance with 12VAC30-122-410 under Virginia's Medicaid Waiver program.
Position:
In-Home Support Professional Location:
Chesapeake, VA Schedule:
8:30am - 4:30pm Monday -
Friday Pay:
Competitive hourly rate + training opportunities
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized supports in the person's home and community. Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, mobility, and household tasks. Support individuals in making safe choices and accessing community resources. Monitor health and safety risks, documenting per Medicaid and DBHDS guidelines. Implement person-centered plans with consistency and compassion.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in human services, caregiving, or disability supports preferred. Must pass background check, drug screening, and reference checks. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Why Join
