Job Description

At New Hope Youth LLC , we are passionate about supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Residential Services team. If you are someone who enjoys helping others, building relationships, and making a real difference every shift this is the place for you. Position Overview Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a residential group home setting. Staff assist individuals with activities of daily living, community engagement, emotional support, and skill-building while promoting dignity, independence, choice, and safety. Job Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and daily routines
  • Encourage individuals to actively participate in tasks and build independent living skills
  • Administer medications as trained and authorized according to physician orders and agency policy
  • Support individuals with community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and social engagement
  • Monitor individuals' health, behaviors, emotional well-being, and safety
  • Complete daily documentation, medication records, and communication logs accurately and timely
  • Maintain a clean, safe, structured, and supportive home environment
  • Follow DBHDS, Medicaid and HCBS regulations, agency policies, and person-centered practices
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, emotional maturity and patience necessary to understand and accept the social, psychological and emotional needs of adults with developmental disabilities Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with individuals with ID/DD, mental health, healthcare, or caregiving preferred Medication Administration Training (MAT) preferred or willingness to obtain Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and able to work well within a team environment Why Join New Hope Youth LLC?
