Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Companion Care Attendant, where fun meets support. We are looking for someone who is responsible and caring to direct and support an individual in community activities, playing games, shopping, doing crafts and exercising like bowling or walks along the river trail. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide essential companionship and assist with health and safety needs. and promote independence in a respectful, nurturing environment. Duties Provide companionship to an individual fostering social engagement. Transportation and interaction during community outings. Maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Assist with meal planning and cooking to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas, laundry, and organizing personal belongings. Experience Prior experience working in home & community care settings is preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder is preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Certification in CPR and First Aid is helpful. Strong communication skills and an ability to redirect and de-escalate situations. Prior experience with ABA or behavioral health is helpful. $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
