Vision, Dental, Health, and Life Insurance (partially company-paid) + 401(k) available About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. The DSP plays a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by promoting independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing quality of life through individualized care and meaningful engagement. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and other personal-care needs. Lead and participate in educational, recreational, and community-based activities that promote growth and engagement. Observe and promptly report any significant physical, medical, behavioral, or emotional changes to the supervisor. Prepare and serve meals and snacks in alignment with individual needs and dietary guidelines. Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all individuals. Maintain accurate and timely written and verbal documentation, contributing to effective planning and service delivery. Support individuals in developing behavioral, personal, vocational, educational, and social skills based on their individualized plans. Use a company or personal vehicle (as applicable) to transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings. Assist individuals in preparing for meals, scheduled groups, appointments, and daily activities. Provide hands-on care for individuals requiring physical assistance. Participate in and contribute to mandatory staff meetings and ongoing training. Requirements Experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors (behavioral support experience required). Ability to provide physical, hands-on support when needed. Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism. Must meet all background check, driving, and training requirements as established by licensing and company policy. Why Join Us?
