Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following established care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and sanitation tasks in accordance with health standards Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient support Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams, residents, and families Experience in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and implementing care plans is desirable Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care that promotes dignity and independence Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
