Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report any concerns promptly Support medication management and administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Observe and document patient condition, behavior, and progress; communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Weekends and holiday rotations are a MUST. Completion bonuses for excellent attendence and performance up to $500/month (this is discretionary depending on assignment). Requirements Prior experience in client care and attentiveness is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 pound objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient support Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients' families and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide exceptional care in home or community settings Must speak English Background Check required Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly improves lives.
