If you are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, various days during the week, depending on the organization's needs.
Wednesday:
11:30 AM until 9 PM Mandatory every other weekend, availability is required and mandatory: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Hours are subject to change depending on the organization's needs. 1

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support, working independently with one individual providing one-to-one support for a male individual with behaviors, aggression, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will provide one-to-one support. The individual requires support with daily activities, promotes independence, and ensures a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalized support and caregiving.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs as needed Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist residents during meal times Provide patient observation to identify any changes in health or behavior and report findings appropriately Maintain the cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning tasks to promote a healthy environment Engage the individual in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and well-being Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of resident information Document care provided accurately in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Skills:
Prior experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques, including CPR, First Aid, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety awareness Compassionate communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable Physical stamina for long shifts involving standing, walking, or assisting residents throughout the day This role is vital in providing compassionate support that enhances the lives of individuals requiring assistance.
