Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities:

Rest Haven Homes, LLC is seeking a qualified Direct Support Professional to provide support in a residential group home setting for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The role of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) is to provide quality of life for the individuals that we support. The DSP follows a person-centered approach to ensure that the wants, desires, and needs of the individuals are being met daily. These individuals are responsible for the daily coordination and execution of the program as outlined by the services offered. Job duties include proficient daily documentation of everyone's mood, behavior and activities and effective verbal communication with other staff to transmit information and coordinate everyone care, administering medication according to individuals plan, and are responsible for transporting individuals in the company vehicle for outings, and monitor them always to ensure they are safe. We are seeking an employee that possesses good decision-making, verbal and writing skills are essential. Most also possesses professionalism, integrity, responsibility, dependability, self- motivation, compassion, and team work.

Hours:

This is a part time position; working evening, overnight, and weekends.

Compensation Performance Expectations:

This position is part time and does not provide any health or dental benefits. Pay will be based off of experience. Each employee will be expected to execute their duties professionally.
