Cleaning Full Job Description Responsibilities :
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met and protocols are followed.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Engage individuals in in-home sensory recreational activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being
  • Lift and transfer individuals as needed
  • Drive individuals to appointments or community outings
Requirements :
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and implement behavior support plans
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow policy and procedures accordingly.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, CPR & First Aid This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
