Direct Support Professional

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals' emotional and social well-being
• Respect and uphold residents' rights and dignity at all times
• Engage individuals in social activities and recreational programs
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure holistic care for residents

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and medication administration is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with diverse needs
