In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting residents in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home and community settings, you will be a positive influence and a trusted caregiver. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ONLY.
Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 11pm both days. This is a very high functioning individual who mainly needs supervision and taking him out in the community when he wants to go out. Serious inquiries only. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Support residents during outings or community activities to foster social engagement and independence Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards and facility policies Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or autism support is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers Demonstrated patience, compassion, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care in diverse settings Experience with care planning, social work principles, or long-term care environments is advantageous Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
