You will provide direct care and learning opportunities for individuals who have an intellectual or developmental disability in both residential, group home, and community based environments.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming and provide quality support Implement individualized care plans surrounding domestic skill-building, community skill-building, behavior intervention, money management, schedule management and more Encourage individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence Organize and assist with transportation arrangements to appointments, activities, etc. Communicate ongoing care updates to relevant supervisory parties Maintain current, accurate, and appropriate individual records and documentation Collaborate with clients and their families for quality care opportunities Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment ​
Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience in direct support of individuals with disabilities is required Familiarity with basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques Compassionate and caring demeanor Maintain confidentiality and safety of client information and records Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical strength and ability to lift or assist with lifting individuals, as needed Must have valid Driver's License, with no restrictions. This role requires compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Any relevant certifications or licenses will be provided by the agency.
