Oversee physical care, development of habits and redirecting individual to help manage individual behavior and helping them to meet the goals and objectives of any service plan. Participate in individual day support assessments; ensuring the daily needs of the individuals is properly met. Escorts individuals to and from community activities as assigned. Provides direct supervision and guidance to ensure safety and welfare of individuals. Observe individuals daily for behavioral changes, physical injuries/conditions and cleanliness, and conduct accordance with Individual Service Plan. Performs required housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and preferably a minimum of one year of work experience in either an In-Home Services or working with individuals that have Developmental Disabilities. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to stoop, bend, stand and lift is a must.
