Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns promptly Support medication administration and help maintain accurate care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform heavy lifting safely to ensure client safety during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living spaces Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents thoroughly to ensure continuity of care Requirements Prior experience in home & community care or assisted living environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Experience working with residents who have complex needs or require specialized care plans Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to patient safety and well-being This role offers an engaging environment where your caregiving skills will directly impact the lives of those you serve.
