For more information, please call 509-925-9200. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure the well-being of individuals under your care. Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, including medication administration and vital signs monitoring. Support individuals in community integration and social activities, fostering independence and personal growth. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe transfers when necessary. Engage with clients in meaningful ways, including cooking together or participating in memory care activities for those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel. Requirements Previous experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring techniques is essential. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
