Direct Support Professional - Full Time Farr Residential Care Spokane Valley, WA Job Details Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Referral program Qualifications Assisting with ADLs Food Handler Certification Full Job Description We are hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with mental health and developmental disabilities in a residential care setting focused on independence and daily living support. This is a low hands-on care environment. Our residents are largely independent and benefit from structure, encouragement, and supervision. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and supporting independence.

4-day work week (4x10s) or 3-day work week (3x13s) Never required to work both weekend days High staffing ratios + onsite management 24/7 on-call support What you'll do: Support residents with daily routines through reminders, cueing, and supervision Encourage independence with hygiene, household tasks, and daily activities Help maintain structure with schedules, appointments, and routines Build respectful, professional relationships with residents Complete daily documentation and progress notes Perform light housekeeping and shared cleaning duties to help maintain a comfortable, home-like environment Medication administration is handled by nursing/Med Tech teams
Requirements:
Active Home Care Aide (HCA), CNA, or NAR Ability to pass WA State background checkMust be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred (not required at time of application): CPR/First Aid (training provided) Experience in mental health, dementia, or developmental disabilities Required by first day of employment: Washington State Food Worker Card Physical requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Benefits:
